Isn't she adorable? She's also a super talented small business owner, a photographer, a mom of four and our Pastor's wife (which is it's own big job)! And she's also one of the nicest people I know. The best kind of person to spend a Saturday with.
I spent a lot of time crocheting to get ready for this show, and I'm so excited to show you all what I made!
I crocheted a TON of my newborn crowns, which my daughter discovered also fit her American Girl dolls! This was probably my best seller of the day:
I also made a bunch of adorable hats to fit a newborn baby, or American Girl dolls. My daughter's Felicity was the model for this cute kitten hat. Let me tell you, having that doll in her tiny kitten hat on the table was a huge draw. Every little girl had to stop by our table and tell me all about their own dolls, it was great!
Of course, I made a bunch of my Last Minute Cowls, and my Lacey Circle Scarves, in every color:
Those scarves were a HUGE hit! I even sold the one I was wearing as a demo! People loved how crazy soft and chunky they were, without being too bulky. Everyone had to touch them.
I also made a bunch of kid's hats in every size, you can see all the crochet flowery goodness. I love that purple hat with the green and pink flower!
More cute hats. I'm thinking of making a red and aqua one in my own size, just so I can wear it with that bow:
I made a few pink kitten hats for bigger girls too, like the one in the picture below. And at the very top of the picture you can see some of my crochet head wraps, including the very one from the post!
Towards the end of the day, Jamie and I came up with the brilliant business plan of selling my hats and her hair bows combined. Genius! Just look at that green hat with a pink and green bow, doesn't it look like it was made to go together?
