Happy Friday Everyone! Here are some of my thrift store finds from the last couple of weeks! Some of these I am so excited to share with you!
Old Navy shirt: $4, Goodwill. I bought this partially because I love this shirt, and also because I may be copying this shirt and sewing myself some more, it looks like it would be super simple to sew!
Real leather moccasins: $3! Goodwill. These are obviously handmade and the softest most buttery leather ever. I wanted moccasins all last fall and winter but couldn't bring myself to swallow the cost of brand new fake leather shoes. Three dollars I can handle!
Mint green Old Navy espadrilles: $5 at Goodwill. I am loving mint green lately!
Pink and grey Old Navy polka dotted top: $4, Idaho Youth Ranch.
Yellow and white striped Gap shirt: $4, Idaho Youth Ranch.
White and Warren 100% cashmere sweater, $8 at Savers. These retail for around $200! This is the comfiest, lightest cashmere sweater I've ever worn, I just love it! It's the perfect summer sweater.
Lauren Conrad skirt: $2, Goodwill.
Vintage turquoise purse: $6, Idaho Youth Ranch. I can't tell you how much I love this purse...everything about it, from the bright color to the leather triangle on the front. It's SO cute!
Banana Republic lime green cardigan, $5, Savers.
These BCBG boots were only $15! This is a little spendy for me usually, but I have been looking for motorcycle boots at thrift forever. I'm really picky, they had to be classic motorcycle style boots, and real leather, which these are. I. Love. Them. $15 was nothing for these boots.
Old Navy white cardigan was $4 at Goodwill. A good basic.
This vintage white lace cardigan was only $4, and I really like it but I'm having a hard time styling it. We'll have to see what I can figure out. I'm thinking maybe with some denim cut offs and a tank...
Also, I just realized that a good amount of the things I bought are fall-ish clothes! I guess I'm already thinking ahead, lol.

So what do you think, any favorites? Any ideas on how I can style that white cardigan? I'm stumped!

You scored! I am so jealous! I love the polka dot top, the sweaters, and , of course, the boots! Found you via the WTYFGH link party!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

I'm dying over the boots, moccasins, skirt & cashmere sweater! I got some good designer dresses..we have a place similar to platos closet here- Anne klien, Betsy Johnson...$6 each! The betsey fits tight so I can't decide if I should starve myself or refashion it. Te fabric & lining are superb quality...the fabric alone is worth more than the $6 price tag. Seeing your post has me wondering why I never post my awesome thrifty finds...I mean, I brag to all my friends about it.... I love these posts :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the cami- how bout open, belted, with beat up jeans & the motorcycle boots? The lace would give a nice feminine touch to a fierce outfit:)
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the idea of combining the lace with the boots! Thanks Amy! Now that I'm looking at it I can't understand why the heck I didn't see it before? Brilliant!
DeleteYou found some great things:) LOVE thrift store shopping:)
ReplyDeleteYou found some great stuff! The LC skirt, moccasins, and turquoise purse are my favorites. I have a lace cardigan similar to the one you got but in black. I am having a hard time styling it too. Let me know if you get any ideas.

Love your finds! Lace top: I find it nice to have a little coverup in the summer for sundresses/tank dresses, especially in the movie theater. Eh!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I just don't know what kind of dress to pair it with. Solid? Floral? Short?

DeleteAll of your finds are great, but I am in love with the boots. Great find, they are perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi! Found you on Tuesday Trivia. LOVE your thrift finds! I don't usually look at the clothes at thrift stores because I don't know how to tell if they are vintage or not. Looks like you have a great eye for it. I would definitely wear that lace cardigan with a tank underneath, skinny jeans tucked into those fabulous boots. It may also look cute over a sundress on a summer evening?
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!!
